Welcome! I originally created this site as a resource for my students and other language teachers, but it has since expanded to include an archive of my publications and presentations, as well as a brief list of courses I've taught. I received my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, and was Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2007-2014. I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Nebraska Wesleyan University for the 2015-2016 academic year. I am currently a Spanish teacher at Fort Calhoun High School and an adjunct Spanish instructor at Metropolitan Community College. Want to know more? Check out my CV.
