Welcome!  I created this site to house some of the materials I've created for the classes I've taught.

About me: I'm an Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.*  I received my Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009.  Want to know more?  Check out my CV.

I partner with SurveyGizmo survey software for my research. Student accounts are free, and academic/non-profit pricing is available.

*If you're not familiar with academic job titles, I'm not actually an assistant, just like I wasn't really a teaching assistant the entire time I was in grad school.  This title just means I'm relatively new and haven't been promoted or tenured yet.  I teach all of my own classes, create most of my own materials, and grade all of my students' homework.  In my spare time, I attend meetings, advise students, and do research on acquisition of Spanish, not at all in that order.
